Tenkuu no Shiro Rapyuta
Originally composed by Joe Hisaishi, re-arranged by Julian Lam for concert band.
I originally arranged this song on and off from 2006 to 2008 using several secondary arrangements, as I did not have direct access to any of Hisaishi's manuscripts. The majority of the arrangement was done by ear.
St. Cecilia's Youth Orchestra debuted this piece in June of 2009.

Written for SATB choir. Arranged in early 2008 in a highly chordal style, mostly as an experiment in order to develop my compositional technique. Lyrics by John McCrae.
